Lyrics

21 HEARTS

Trying hard not to feed the monsters
Demons at my side
Doubting every single thing I do
Fear of my decisions failure

You fill the air with laughter, I got to go
Where the night is dark and the moon would softly glow

I’m losing grip and I’m sliding down the hill
And it gets me more thrills than I can take
In fear of my own failure, procrastinating behaviour
That keeps me from going on

For I rather stay on a low down
You know I’m not a writer, just a drunk with a pen
For I don’t think I’m going anywhere
For I’m not even sure of what I want

It all takes time, though it’s all I got
Won’t you give me one more minute?
Need to clear my head, and I do admit it
It keeps me from leading on

It’s hard to feel, sometimes it’s hard to laugh
But the air I am breathing is filled with your love
I’m leading stars and they’re cut up and tied with stripes
Oh land, free land, won’t you wait on me

For I rather stay on a low down
You know I’m not a writer, just a drunk with a pen
For I know I’m going anywhere
For I’m not even sure of what I want

Want to be close to you and hear the stories you’ve been through
Sometimes I wanna be a billionaire, but I wanna do it in a way that’s fair
Oh, life’s gamble, I heard ‘em say
I’m not playing with love, I play 21 hearts above

So I rather stay on a low down
You know I’m not a writer, just a drunk with a pen
For I don’t know what I want
