20. May 2026 - New EP “Labyrinths of the Night” OUT NOW

Bob Spring returns with “Labyrinths of the Night” - a four-track descent into fractured identities, burned-out faith, inner violence and the need for connection in a collapsing world.

Built from raw guitars, street-level grit and unapologetic emotion, the EP moves between rage and vulnerability without warning. These songs don’t posture. They bleed.

From the bitter social spiral of “King and Queen”, to the cosmic hostility of “His Infernal Majesty”, to the drunken survival poetry of “Hard Walking Dead Man”, the record walks through ruined cities, broken ideals and restless souls still looking for something human underneath the noise.

Closing track “God’s Not Here Today” slows everything down into an ethereal, apocalyptic haze - a soundscape of resignation, defiance and spiritual emptiness.

Labyrinths of the Night is not polished rebellion.
It’s honest aggression.
Street rock for the sleepless, the disillusioned and the ones still walking anyway.
 

24. February 2026 - New Single “Free To Go” out now + Tour Dates

This one is definitely one of my favorite — and most personal — songs I’ve ever written.

It’s about that quiet, heavy feeling of not being enough… especially for the person who loves you the most. About looking at someone who sees magic in you, while you’re only able to see your flaws. About wanting to give them the world, but feeling like your hands are empty. It’s about love mixed with doubt. Gratitude mixed with guilt. Being deeply cared for, yet secretly wondering if they deserve someone better. This song holds that vulnerability — the fear of disappointing someone who believes in you more than you believe in yourself.

Maybe some of you will recognize that feeling.

10. July 2025 - New EP Out Now: Forty Two

I'm proud to share with you my new EP, "Forty Two" — now officially released and available everywhere.

This five-track collection is a deeply personal journey. A confessional in sound and story, Forty Two dives into themes of heartbreak, memory, resilience, and redemption. Rooted in Americana, folk, and alternative traditions, each song is a chapter from the soul — weathered, honest, and unafraid to sit with the shadows.
 

Opening with “Does It Sound Familiar”, a letter to the past and a song of survival, the EP draws listeners into a world of late-night trains, family echoes, and hard-won resilience. “Goodby Alabama” is a farewell to illusion, soaked in the nostalgia of a friendship that couldn’t quite outrun time. On “An Ugly Ending” silence speaks louder than words, capturing the slow unraveling of a love that once burned bright.

But "Forty Two" isn’t only about falling apart—it’s about the quiet rebuilding. “Around a Memory” is a song of endurance, of choosing to hold on through darkness. The EP closes with the stormy isolation of  “The Angels Don’t Come” where the search for divine intervention dissolves into a bitter echo.

Why Forty Two? It might be an age, a moment in time, or a nod to that ultimate cosmic question. Whatever it is, it’s real, raw, and true to where I’ve been and where I’m heading.

16. April 2025 - Happy release day “Twenty One”!

Yes! It's finally here and it is great! I'm so proud of this very personal EP and so very thankful for the cooperation with my new Berlin based label partner SOULPUNX Entertainment.

“Twenty One” and its singles “21 Hearts” and “How Would I Try” gave me a huge leap on my monthly listeners count jumping from 320 Monthly listeners to 3540! :-D

19. June 2024 - Album recordings accomplished!

Dear friends and fans,
I am so happy and proud of what Ken, Gabe, Teddy, Ron, Jim and myself, achieved during the last 3 weeks. The recordings for my new album, which we tracked in Nashville at Ken Coomer's Cartoon Moon Studio, were a wonderful experience for me and the turnout is simply wonderfull!
To be honest, I was a little nervous from time to time, and sometimes even a little anxious and worried about whether I could do this or not. So, I also won some self confidence on the journey. :-D
I can't wait to show you some teasers of this wondeful and beautiful record!

02. April 2024 - Crowdfunding the new album

Hello you all,
I'ts been a while since the last news update. I was working on the song selection and crowdfunding video for the upcoming album. I have the chance to record my next album in Nashville, Tennessee. Ken Coomer (Wilco, Lucinda Williams, etc.), will support and produce me. Production starts on May 1. Of course, a project like this can not be realized  without your help.

06. February 2024 - Good news + Show reminder
Hello everybody,
I got some great news for you! First, I turned 40 in January and by Feb. 3. I'm 6 months clean. Still, that's not yet the greatest of news… I have the honor to record my next album in Nashville TN with Ken Coomer (Wilco, Lucinda Williams, Steve Earle, Sheryl Crow, Emmylou Harris, Billy Bragg, Phil Lesh and many more). Plus, on the bass; Surprise! Wait and see. :-D
I will set up a crowdfunding for the promotion of the record soon. So, get yer green ready! Haha!

30. March 2023 - Green Tour and Chäsi in Epsach

First of all I wanted to thank everybody who helped, supported and hosted me on my tour through Germany and Poland! Each and every single gig was a full house, which, to be honest, I really did not expect! I met wonderful people and saw so many beautiful places which I would have never seen if I did the tour in a regular way. So, I think I'll keep touring this way, it seams to work perfectly! <3

20. January 2023 - Album Green Tour just kicked off!

Ladies and Gentlemen, it‘s happening at this very moment, my green tour for the new album „I woke up like this“ takes place, and I‘m on the way to Friedrichstadt in Germany. I am doing this all on my own and take the full financial risk as well. Sadly, neither the city of Zürich, the National institution ProHelvetia, nore the self-crowned „Green Touring Network“ in Germany wanted to support this tour or even think of answering any e-mail. I‘m not bitching or crying, it just leaves me guessing if anyone is, in fact, really interested in making a change for the planet we‘re living on, or, if all that talking it is nothing but another inaccettable way of selfrendering. We’ll see. :-D So, if anyone out there feels like supporting me in a way, feel free to reach out by e-mail and we‘ll make it out. :-D

I am excited about the upcomg shows, meet new people, see new places, and of course play the album songs alongside with a few brand new ones!
